Malamang ang matagal na pagtigil sa ere ng PBB ay tama rin para hindi naman magsawa masyado ang mga tao. At tama naman ang move, dahil sa tagal ng paghihintay ay excited na muli ang mga Pinoy na subaybayan ulit ang kanilang favorite reality show sa ABS-CBN.
Nagsimula ang PBB Season 4 noong Sabado, October 29, 2011 sa Pinoy Big Brother Big Fiesta. Tulad ng ibang season, isa-isang pinakilala ang mga bagong housemates bago sila pinapasok sa bahay. Ito ang unang 13 na official housemates na pumasok sa bahay ni Kuya:

Dubbed as Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited, this PBB is one of the biggest seasons. Sa nag-audition palang na-break na nila ng record with 30,000 hopefuls na gustong makapasok sa bahay ni Kuya. Unlimited din ang twists na hinanda para sa season na ito. Una na nga rito ay ang pasabog na bukod sa 13 official housemates, ay may 30 reserved housemates na maaring magkaroon ng pagkakataon na pumasok at maging official housemate ni Kuya! Ngunit hindi ito magiging madali dahil para na rin silang susuot sa butas ng karayom sa mga task na kailangan nilang ipasa para maging official housemate.
Ipinakita na rin ang 30 reserved housemates noong Sabado at binunot sa tambyolo ang number ng lucky housemate na unang papasok at susubukin sa loob PBB house. Ito ay si Carlo Romero, 25, from Chicago. Magiging mole sya ni Kuya sa loob ng isang linggo at bibigyan ng 4 na imposibleng task. Kapag successful sya ay pwede na syang maiwan sa loob ng bahay bilang official housemate. 🙂
