Second week of nominations in the PBB house

After Jieriel Papa leaves, it’s now a toss between Linda Backlund and Kevin Garcia as the next evictees of the Pinoy Big Brother house.

It’s Linda’s second time to be nominated. She has a certain attitude that the housemate’s don’t like. Maybe part of the reason is her family that was broken when her father left for Norway because of misunderstandings with her mom. Will the viewers give her another chance to change and show her better side?

Kevin, the Spanish Stallion of Madrid, got the highest number of votes since PBB started in the Philippines. He seems masungit and unapproachable to some housemates. Maybe because his poor Tagalog prevents him from communicating as much as he wants with the others. Will he be the next evictee? Will the viewers save him because of his looks? Or because of his jolly dad, who’s enjoying his stay in the PBB house.

We’ll find out this weekend. 🙂

Jieriel and guardians out of the house

After a week of voting, it was teen housemate Jieriel who was the first to go from the PBB house.

Others included in the first batch of nominees were Linda, Josef, Priscilla and Valerie. In the end, the televiewers decided to evict Jieriel. Maybe most people weren’t too pleased with Jieriel’s frankness and being loud. Josef, on the other hand, got the highest number of votes.

Together with Jieriel, stepdad Gerry, had to leave the house as well. The rule is that when a housemate gets evicted, their guardians get evicted too.

Another one to leave the house is Robi’s dad, Doc Boy. Among the teen council, it was Robi who lead the housemates into voting his dad off the PBB house as he believes his dad would be able to help more people outside. Doc Boy is a laparoscopic surgeon, which is a highly skilled profession. It was sad, but it was a wise decision. After all, Doc Boy already enjoyed 2 weeks of vacation, performed the first circumcision inside the PBB house, and proved to his son Robi that family is still more important than work.

Teen Missions Part 1

Haha! Hilarious! 🙂

Watching PBB Teen Edition Plus lately has been enjoyable. Lately, Big Brother has been giving the teens secret missions that are mischievous and funny at the same time. One time he requested Robi and Alex to bring Nan (who wasn’t able to join them with an earlier task as he was nursing a bruised eye due to an accident in one of their games) into the secret room and leave him there without his knowledge. At first Robi and Alex were guilty, but they instantly felt relieved when they saw the discovered Nan, spending time being taken cared of by his mom and his housemates’ guardians.

The guardians were also given their own task. They had to teach Nan some nursery rhymes so he could go back to where the teen housemates were. They taught him I’m a Little Teapot, Old Mcdonald and Eensy Weensy Spider, all with accompanying hand gestures and actions. They were unsuccesful according to Kuya, but it was fun watching the guardians sing and act with Nan.

FUNNY TIDBIT: Someone asked what ‘eensy’ meant and Alex’s mom said, “eensy, one inch!” =P

Parang maraming hindi natutuwa dito kay Jieriel

Hindi ko gusto yung girl na short hair at paos. That was what my sister said when she saw Saturday’s episode of PBB teen edtion plus. Siyempre I know na she was talking about Jieriel. She seems to have this something na hindi ganun ka-likable. Pero hindi naman talaga fond ang ate ko sa mga kikay na tao. Pero parang from the other comments of other people, parang ayaw din nila itong si Jieriel. I can’t really pin point it. Maybe it’s her palaban and vocal personality. She was even advocating during her graduation speech to be vocal. Kayo? Ano ba yung meron si Jieriel kung bakit parang ayaw siya ng ibang tao?

Ejay and his secret

Kaya naman pala kakaiba ang itsura nitong si Ejay. May halong foreign blood din pala siya. At siyempre hindi pala ito alam ng kanyang kinikilalang ama. Sinabihan yata siya ng kanyang mga tita (mga kapatid ng kanyang nanay) na hindi talaga si Mang Erning ang kanyang ama. Isa daw itong French. Sa una ay ayaw makaharap nitong si Ejay ang kanyang ama. Ang hirap din naman kasing sabihin ang ganung bagay. Natrual na masasaktan ito pero kapag nagawa naman niya ito ay magiging malaya na siya sa kanyang sikreto. Ako rin ay naawa sa ama ni Ejay. It isn’t fair. Sa bagay, ganun naman talaga ang buhay. Ang nasabi na nga lang ng ama ni Ejay pagkatapos sabihin ni Ejay ang kanyang tinatago ay ‘Niloko pala ako ng nanay mo.’ Nakakawa naman talaga. Buti na lang at reassuring naman itong si Ejay sa kanyang ama. I’m sure natutuwa pa rin itong si Mang Erning na si Ejay ang kanyang naging anak kahit may ganitong mga rebelasyon. Dahil nasabi na ang sikretong ito, parang nabunutan na ng tinik itong si Ejay. Good for him. Hopefully nothing changes in their relationship.

Atenean teen housemate Robi mabenta sa girl housemates

Pinakita kagabi ang usapan ng mga girl housemates sa living room. Nakakatawa talaga ang mga tpoics pag teens ang nag-uusap. I mean parang hindi mawawala ang topic na crush. Haha. Parang nagsimula kasi yung isa sa mga girls discussing na most of them don’t have boyfriends. Parang si Jieriel lang yata yung merong BF at the moment. Since ito yung usapan, naisip nila kung sino naman sa mga boys ang may girlfirends. Tinatanong ni Beuaty sa mga girls if they think may gf si Robi. Ayun, inasar tuloy siya na may crush kay Robi. Haha. Pero umamin naman itong si Beauty in a way. Hindi naman daw crush, she just finds him cute. Hmm… Nag-agree naman ang mga girls that they also find Robi cute. Ang swerte naman nitong si Robi, sabi nga nila Ejay at Nan the other night na walang patapon sa mga girl na kasama nila, lahat daw ay pwede. Hmm… I guess halos pare-pareho ng taste ang mga girl housemates. Type nila ang chinito. So Robi, kung nalaman mo ba ang info na ito, may ipu-pursue ka ba sa mga fellow housemates mo? This early may naisip na ba kayong loveteams inside the Pinoy Big Brother House? I guess after this stint sa PBB house hindi na matatakot mabasted itong si Robi.

My take on Valerie, Priscilla, and Beauty

Kahit hindi mukhang Pilipino itong Dazzling Doll from Germany, nakakakanta pala ito ng Tagalog songs. Napakita kagabi ang pagkanta ni Valerie ng Bakit Pa ni Jessa Zaragosa. Binigyan kasi ng task itong si Priscilla na magpaturong kumanta kay Valerie. Napagalaman kasi ni Big Bro na kumakanta pala itong si Valerie ng Tagalog. Sa bagay titignan mo nga itong si Valerie, blonde and all, at kumakanta ng Tagalog, kakaiba diba. Pagkatapos magpaturo ay nag-present na itong sina Valerie at Priscilla ng kanilang song number. I guess exercise ito para kay Priscilla on communicating. Naging matagumpay naman sila. Isa pang task na pinagawa kay Prisicilla para sa kanyang communication skills ay magturo ng lip reading. Pinili ni Big Brother si Beauty para turuan ni Priscilla. Mukhang natututo naman itong si Beauty. Sa episode kagabi parang I realized na ok din naman pala itong si Beauty. Akala ko kasi parang masyadong bossy. I guess leader type kasi siya pero last night parang ok naman siya lalao na nung medyo worried siya dahil akala niya siya yung nag-violate. She may come of strong pero when she’s wrong she humbles herself which I think is very good. Kayo what do you think about these three housemates: Beauty, Prscilla, and Valerie? Ok ba sila so far?

Koko sa paa. Ano daw?

Koko sa paa. Haha. Nakakatawa talaga itong si Alex. Ayan kasi nagviolate ng hoserule dahil bumulong, napilitan tuloy magmemorize ng 1000 Filipino words. Kawawa naman. First day pa lang ng teen housemates ay meron ng paglabag sa houserules na naganap. Hmm.. Interesting.

Kasama din sa punishment ang isa pang gumawa ng violation na si Josef. Pareho din siya ng violation kay Alex kaya ayun. Ang punishment nila ay isigaw lahat ng kanilang sasabihin. Upang matangal ang punishment, kailangan nilang magmemorize ng Foreign words. Si Alex 1000 Pinoy words at si Josef naman kailangan magmemorize ng 500 Italian words at 500 Spanish words. Pahirapan na talaga ito! Punishment kung punishment. Makaya naman kaya nila ito? Kagabi nga nakaka-300 plus pa lang itong si Alex. Malamang maubos na niya ang lahat ng parte sa katawan ay hindi pa rin siya maka 1000 words. Sa gitna nga ng pagbikas ng 300 plus words na ito ay nagkabistuhan pa tuloy. Napaamin itong si ALex na hindi pa siya tuli. Hindi daw kasi uso ito sa Italy. Nag-violate kasi ng houserules, ayan tuloy nalaman ng buong mundo na supot ka pa. GO Alex. Hehe.

Robi and Josef: Best buddies forever

Maganda konsepto ng task ang pinagawa sa housemates #13 and #14. Isang Lasalista at isang Atenista na pagpapangaping mag best friends. Makaya kaya nila itong gawin ng hindi nahuhuli? Malaki ang nakataya sa task na ito. Buong budget for next week ang maaring mawala kung sakaling kahit isa lamang sa mga housemates ang magduda sa katotohanan na magbestfriends nga itong sila Robi at Josef. Lalaking version nila Paris Hilton at Nicole Ritchie bago sila magaway? O puwede ring Marc and Rovilson of The Amazing Race Asia 2. Mukhang pinangangatawanan naman nila ang kanilang task so far. Kaya lang hindi pa masyadong convincing ang kanilang dance number na Quit Playing games with my heart. Hindi convincing dahil hindi pa ayos ang kanilang dance moves pero convincing na rin dahil kahit na ang baduy ng kantang ito they seem to be proud presenting it. Well, they don’t have a choice but at least they don’t cringe each time the song plays. One more thing, parang masyado nilang sinasabi na best friends sila. Baka mahuli sila kakasabi nun. I mean, don’t say it… just show it! Diba? Good luck na lang sa kanila. Hopefully they make their schools proud.

Ooops, bago ko tapusin ang enty na ito, natatawa pala ako sa pang-aasar nitong si Linda sa dalawa. Sabi ni Linda: Mag bf kayo? Haha… Hmm… So Linda? Tunay bang pang-aasar yan o may type ka lang sa isa sa kanila? Sino? Hehe…

Prisicilla pinayagang makita ang labi ni Kuya

Una ay mag-isa itong si Priscilla sa loob ng confession room. Dahil nahirapan itong kausapin itong si Big Brother dahil wala siyang marinig, pinapasok ni Big Brother itong si Beauty sa confession room. Doon ay sinabi ni Priscilla kay Beauty na sabihin sa kanya kung ano man ang sinasabi nitong si Big Brother. Ang point naman ng usapan nila ay para masabi ni Priscilla kung paano sila makakapag-usap ni Big Brother. Pagkatapos ng paguusap ay pinalabas na itong si Beauty. Nagkaroon naman ng magandang compromise. Pinayagan ni Kuya itong si Priscilla na makapag-usap sila through lip reading. Since Big Brother does not allow others to see any part of him, siyempre kailangan secret lang din ni Priscilla kung ano man ang makikita niya. She couldn’t say to the other housemates what Big Brother’s lips look like. At least nakapag-usap din sila finally.

Nakakabilib nga din itong si Priscilla, mahirap mga lip reading lalo na kung pa-iba iba ang language na gamit. English, Tagalog, Tag-lish, Bisaya at iba pa pero nagagawa naman niyang makipagcommunicate sa kanyang ibang mga housemates. Pero nakakatakot din pala yung lagay ni Priscilla in a way. Kagabi kasi pinakita na kinakausap siya pero since hindi niya marinig ang kausap hindi siya nakakapagrespond. Una ay nung pinapa-pasa sa kanya yung kanin sa kanya. To the rescue naman sa pagpasa ng kanin itong si Jieriel. Sana hindi naman nila naisip na suplada itong si Priscilla or anything. Another instance was when, Jolas was calling for Priscilla. Sabi nga ni Jolas na hindi siya pinansin. Buti na lang nung lumingon na itong si Priscilla, nakipag usap na siya kay Jolas.

I just hope she lasts long enough for us to see how she really is. I think ok naman siya. Sana hindi siya ma-misinterpret ng mga housemates. I hope they understand her and know kung paano ba maki-relate at makipag-usap sa kanya.
