Have you seen the 12 housemates of the Pinoy Big Brother Teen edtion? It sure looks like a nice program to see with the 12 interesting teens who in their own right sport different looks that are akin to the taste of the Pinoy teen viewers. I actually like the girl housemates line-up. They all look they’ll be destined to make waves on television. Though I haven’t seen how they are yet, they will get viewers to watch the program not only because of their good looks but also because of the new personas they will be taking on. We wouldn’t help but wonder and ask ourselves if this is Starcircle Quest or Pinoy Big Brother.

Are they worthy enough to be considered by some as Starcircle material? What do you guys think?

Pinoy Big Brother Teen edition opened last night, 24 April 2006, in the premises of the ABS-CBN compound and the Pinoy Big Brother House. It was a good opening night for viewers as it showcased a host of entertaining numbers to the delight of its live audience. The 12 Teen Housemates were presented one by one showing the story of their lives on video. The video even starts with an animated version of the teen housemate to be introduced. Not to be outdone is the manner in which the housemates get to be seen in person on stage. They came one by one on-board motorcycles with the screaming fans shouting as they took off their helmets.

The12 teen housemates sure look like they’ll be making noise not only inside the Pinoy Big Brother House but to the whole world outside as well.

Kakatapos lang ng opening night ng “PBB: Teen Edition” at na–introduce na ang twelve contestants for this 6–week series. Meron akong napansin na common sa halos lahat sa kanila: karamihan sa kanila ay galing sa broken families o merong uncommon personal conflict.

Dun sa mga nakasali, mukhang pinaka–interesting si Matt at si Jamilla. Bukod sa mala–imported nilang katangian, makulay ang mga buhay nila. Pareho silang hindi pinoy ang tatay. Si Matt, makulay ang family story. Si Jamilla naman, bata pa lang nagka-anak na agad. At bukod pa dun, natutong buhayin ang sarili’t anak sa trabahong hindi tanggap ng ating conservative na kultura.

Sa tingin ko, yung dalawang nabanggit ko ang mapapansin ng madalas in the next few days. Baka nga isa na rin sa kanila ang manalo. 🙂

Before I share my comments on Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition’s The Big Night, let me first congratulate Celebrity Big Winner Keanna Reeves. I guess she really deserves it that’s why she won. Congratulations also to the other members of the Big Four, John, Zanjoe, and Bianca.

Here are my comments on PBB Celebrity Edtion’s Big Night:

Anong petsa na?! Sa sobrang haba ng PBB Celebrity Edition Big Night, nag-iba na ng petsa ang araw at hindi pa rin natatapos ang palabas. Nagsimula ako manood ng April 1 at APril 2 na natapos. Marami rin kasing naging commercials ang PBB Big Night. I was tempted to turn off the TV and just wait for The Buzz the next day for updates on what happened. Siyempre hindi ko na rin pinaglagpas, since 50+ days ako nanonood araw-araw. Sayang naman kung hindi ko tapusin.

There weren’t as much numbers that were presented unlike in the first season. Ang dami kasing artista at numbers dun sa Big Night ng Season one. For the Celebrity Edtion, ang natatandaan ko lang ay ang dalawang loveteams na kumakanta. Kristine and TJ and Heart and Echo. Plus Itchyworms playing the theme song for the new season of PBB. Ito ba ay dahil wala silang budget para sa guests? I guess kasi artista/celbrity na yung mga housemates so hindi na nila kailangan maginvite ng maraming artista.

Napansin niyo ba si Heart nung Big Night. There’s something about Heart that I can’t explain. Hindi ko alam kung tumaba siya or what. Lumapad ba siya o pangit lang ang fit ng damit niya? I guess dahil sa ganitong ‘change’ kay Heart kaya lumalabas ang iba’t-ibang chismis tungkol sa kanya.

In general, ok naman yung Big Night. May spectacle pa rin. The winner was lifted from their holding room which I kind of guessed. Though I guess walang tatalo sa spectacle nung lumabas si Nene. Naalala niyo pa ba yung part na bumukas yung buong bahay at umikot yung seat niya to face the audience?
