Is ABS-CBN doing a demolition job for Wendy and Bruce? I’m not so sure but it would seem that way if you hear the reaction of most people about what Wendy has been doing inside the PBB house right after the ‘in your face’ activity of selecting who doesn’t deserve to be on the Big Four. What has she done? She got drunk which made her say a lot of hurtful things. Though I think she still would have said a lot of things even without alcohol intake. Anyway, it doesn’t end there since when the next day came, Wendy didn’t want to cook for Gee-ann and Bea. Sa bagay mas mabuti na yun kaysa naman na pakainin niya itong si Bea at Gee-ann ng pagkaing may lason. Hehe. At siyempre grabe ang parinig ni Wendy sa kanyang mga housemates. Naging conclusion pa nga ni Wendy na ang may inggit talaga ay si Gee-ann and not the other way around. (Logical kasi yung other way around since pwedeng mainggit si Wendy kay Gee-ann kasi nga mayaman si Gee-ann.) I think ang pinaka hurtful na sinabi ni Wendy about Gee-ann is that si Gee-ann may Pamela kasi manika lang ang kayang makipagkaibigan sa kanya. Balikan ba pa yun? Super na ang pag-attack ni Wendy. Hay naku Wendy, sana ay magpalamig ka ng ulo bago ka magsalita. Konting conrtol lang hija. Hindi mo na kasi mababawi ang mga salitang binitawan mo. Sana pag-isipan mo muna ang lahat bago ka maglabas ng galit mo at awayin ang ibang tao. Sana ma-relalize mo na plastik din ang magparinig. Kung nagagalit ka, sabihin mo ng harapan. I-confront mo si Gee-ann at Bea. Diba?
What will e the ultimate effect of all these chaos inside the house? Does it look like Wendy and Bruce are on their way out? How will all these affect Gee-ann? Will this pull her down too (wala lang kasi baka mainis na rin yung tao sa kanya sa pagiging iyakin)? I’m very much excited on what will happen in the next few days. But in the end I hope and wish they all settle everything since they all started as friends and I hope they all end up still as friends.

how can some people say judgemental ang isang tao then cla din pala nag j-judge. i’m not a fan of any particular housemate but the way i see it, my point naman c wendy and she owns her mistakes. she doesn’t even make excuses and said mali cya. that’s admirable. my point din c g-ann and bea coz not everybody are confrontational but sometimes dba u have to stand up for yourself pag inaapakan ka na? isn’t it what bigbro wants them to learn inside? to be strong, eh parang walang improvement. maybe for g-ann she now knows how to wash her clothes but still iyakin pa rin. they could have answered back but they chose to be silent and for me it’s not a sign of pagpapakita ng magandang asal. for me it’s showing that they’re weak against somebody who has a stronger personality. in the end, if wendy ends up the big winner all you can do is say your boo but she has the 1M, the house, the european package tour and the business. i guess what i’m trying to say is just do shoot your votes but avoid saying negative things about the housemates, wendy in particular coz come to think of it, you’re not any different than her. and if there’s somebody to fight for g-ann and bea, cla un. just my 2 cents.
I saw Dyogi’s explanation on PT tonight and here are my reactions:
PBB Concept – Dyogi claimed that the concept is already made by Endemol. True! But this is a general concept on how the reality show should be run. It does not mean the PBB cannot conceptualize scenarios, events, happenings, scripts, storylines, and other situations that they deem significant inside the house. Right after Dir. Reyes lambasted PBB, Dyogi defended by saying that they “designed the show to fit to the taste of the Filipino masa para hindi maging boring.” He even said that it is “like a telenovela.” In other words, Dyogi confirmed that “concepts” were being created. Was he trying to play with our sensibilities?
Wendy is Dyogi’s Pet – Dyogi categorically denied this. But what about the Balik-Bahay concept? Why were the other evicted HMs not included? And during voting Wendy came out with a wide margin? She was evicted because many did not like her; but then she got the highest votes during the Balik-Bahay when another extensive campaign was organized so Wendy could not return. This is unbelievable considering that she has the lowest votes during the 7th eviction. PBB might have the electronic evidence to show that Wendy got the highest votes, but it is possible that PBB infused votes (from management and staff) to show that Wendy is leading. Thus, the votes did not come from the public making it obvious that Wendy is not the public’s pet but Dyogi’s pet.
Manipulation of Votes – Pineda said that ABS-CBN Interactive handles the voting process not PBB. But the unit is still part of ABS-CBN, thus biased and partial. The unit claimed that they hired a third party – an audting firm (without a name) – to monitor the votes cast on June 17. He said that manipulation is impossible because voting is electronic. Is he trying to fool us? Who said that electronic votes cannot be manipulated. Ask any IT / computer science specialist and they would laugh at this statement! In order to secure the votes, a third party would be the only witness to ensure the sanctity of the votes. But that third party was “hired” by Interactive, thus still bias and partial. A third party must be a group that is “not hired” but must represent certain interest groups to ensure that public votes are not manipulated. The auditing firm was also engaged from June 17 onwards. Does this mean that votes prior to June 17 were not monitored? This is unacceptable!
Talent Auditors – Even Toni acceded that she has not hear of that term before. Although this is not a common term used in showbiz, there are talent coordinators whose main responsibilities include “auditing talents.” The word “audit” means to assess, gauge, measure, evaluate, and test public impact of a talent. This might be the term used by the writer, it does not mean a “position” but a “function.”
Dispersed Votes – Dyogi said that it was very probable for Wendy to get higher votes because fans of other HMs voted in a disperse manner. But he has to consider that these “disperse votes” reflect a huge number compared to Wendy’s solid fans. Statistically, a huge number (to include fans of evicted HMs and other citizens who are not in the forums) have bigger impact than a few concentrated votes. If one remembers the 7th eviction night, votes were dispersed between Dionne, Saicy, and Wendy. The majority voted for Dionne because many wanted Wendy out. And Dionne got the highest votes. Thus Dyogi’s explanation is not convincing. But since votes are not a reflection of the number of individuals who voted, but the cash flow …. then this is where manipulation can be rife because votes can be “managed.”
