Is ABS-CBN doing a demolition job for Wendy and Bruce? I’m not so sure but it would seem that way if you hear the reaction of most people about what Wendy has been doing inside the PBB house right after the ‘in your face’ activity of selecting who doesn’t deserve to be on the Big Four. What has she done? She got drunk which made her say a lot of hurtful things. Though I think she still would have said a lot of things even without alcohol intake. Anyway, it doesn’t end there since when the next day came, Wendy didn’t want to cook for Gee-ann and Bea. Sa bagay mas mabuti na yun kaysa naman na pakainin niya itong si Bea at Gee-ann ng pagkaing may lason. Hehe. At siyempre grabe ang parinig ni Wendy sa kanyang mga housemates. Naging conclusion pa nga ni Wendy na ang may inggit talaga ay si Gee-ann and not the other way around. (Logical kasi yung other way around since pwedeng mainggit si Wendy kay Gee-ann kasi nga mayaman si Gee-ann.) I think ang pinaka hurtful na sinabi ni Wendy about Gee-ann is that si Gee-ann may Pamela kasi manika lang ang kayang makipagkaibigan sa kanya. Balikan ba pa yun? Super na ang pag-attack ni Wendy. Hay naku Wendy, sana ay magpalamig ka ng ulo bago ka magsalita. Konting conrtol lang hija. Hindi mo na kasi mababawi ang mga salitang binitawan mo. Sana pag-isipan mo muna ang lahat bago ka maglabas ng galit mo at awayin ang ibang tao. Sana ma-relalize mo na plastik din ang magparinig. Kung nagagalit ka, sabihin mo ng harapan. I-confront mo si Gee-ann at Bea. Diba?
What will e the ultimate effect of all these chaos inside the house? Does it look like Wendy and Bruce are on their way out? How will all these affect Gee-ann? Will this pull her down too (wala lang kasi baka mainis na rin yung tao sa kanya sa pagiging iyakin)? I’m very much excited on what will happen in the next few days. But in the end I hope and wish they all settle everything since they all started as friends and I hope they all end up still as friends.

Ang nakalagay pa is “evicted housemate magsasalita na tungkol sa mga nakaalitan niyang housemate sa loob ng bahay”. Hindi kaya scripted na talagang paalisin si wendy?hehehe…..nagkamali yata yung abs kc hindi na pinalabas ulit yung preview.

enough said about Wendy’s vicious, self centered attitude as well as Bruce’ effete tragedy to his masculinity brought about by Wendy. This only shows that wherever you came from, all walks of life, the Filipinos are one with hatred against persons that do not exercise the “tamang pakikisama”. Wendy is not the only person showered with poverty and bad experiences in life. Its simply is not an excuse to question other people’s motives and principles. Poverty can be alleviated, bad experiences can be used as an inspiration to strive to do good, those are two things that doesnt stick with you as long as you are able and willing to rise above it. Even handicapped persons are able to turn around their situation for the better. I can give concession to those who are also poor but is also non-educated. Wendy was able to finish her education so there’s simply no excuse to question the life you had been living for 25 years. Tanggap na nya dapat ang buhay na kinalakihan nya and she should focus on alleviating it not to blame it for all her shortcomings.
I admire Bea’s calm and clarity of mind, Mickey’s intelligence and focus, Gee-ann’s milestone character empowerment and tranquility, Bodie’s effort to side with which is right instead of wrong and his effort to discover his own personal limit.
What can I say about Nel’s character? not strong enough to make a dent in my memory,his humor is oftentimes misplaced, he’s easily overpowered by strong-willed persons like Wendy and Bruce, I believe Nel can be thinking deep inside that his poverty is enough for the people to vote for him.He has the potential, he just forgot to assert himself.
For Bruce, there’s a vital reason why God put man above woman just like how He put Christ above man. If he cant figure that out then its the end of him, like it has been the end of Adam.

Analysis of some terminologies used by PBB “Housemate” Wendy
1. ‘safe’ – Wendy pointed out (on PBB June 20 episode) that Beatriz has always been ‘safe’. She also said that Beatriz and Gee-ann were “hindi nagpapakatotoo”. She said that halos 4 months na pero hindi sila nagpakita ng bad side nila.
Showing one’s bad side to other people is not a proof of being REAL.
Beatriz, acted on Wendy’s rants in no less than what people can expect from someone whom everyone knows is the housemate na marunong tumingin sa mga bagay objectively, (hear her arguments and clarifications nun Maricris-Bea scene) Wendy’s demonstration of her bad side/ what she labels as the ‘real’ reaction she has regarding the events is a DECISION she made. Beatriz’ and Gee-ann’s reactions are more restrained* (restrained- meaning, the real emotions or feelings are still there, the person is definitely not hiding/concealing those feelings but showing a MORE CALM and CIVIL way of confronting conflicts; in contrast to displaying every ounce of hatred/anger s/he feels (as in Wendy’s pagpaparinig)
IT DOES NOT FOLLOW THAT SHOWING ONE’S BAD SIDE IS A PROOF OF BEING REAL
A more appropriate explanation of this incident (one reality Wendy is not open to embrace) reveals that PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT WAYS OF CONFRONTING CONFLICT (which results from the decisions the person made on how to face that conflict.) or simply, hindi lahat nagre=react the way YOU do
2. ‘strategy’ – Wendy keeps on saying on national tv that the nomination Gee-ann made while calling and treating her ‘ate’ is a strategy. She is also convinced that Beatriz’ reactions and comments to her will bring a repeat of the Maricris-Beatriz scene.
As PBB IS A GAME, the housemates, as well as us, the viewers, know that some of the actions made inside the House are part of the housemates’ strategies/ game plans. Accepting this statement as a true, there is a possibility that Wendy bursting out her ‘real’ bad side, crying on national tv, getting drunk, ranting, REPETITION of her socioeconomic status (SES) as ‘mahirap’—are part of her own strategy.
*Repetition is a way of reminding people. There is NO NEED for Wendy to repeat to Bruce her SES, everyone in the house knows that, and most of the viewers are aware of the -fact-. But because PBB airs on TV every word made on that incident, Wendy IS SURE that Bruce IS NOT THE ONLY RECIPIENT of that statement.
Whatever her intention was, REPEATING her SES is still a ‘good reminder’ to the people that she NEEDS to win, because she NEEDS the prize money. (hey, i got an idea.. why not try joining deal or no deal or game knb? for a change, ya know…)
QUITE A STRATEGY, isn’t it?!

3. ‘isang milyon’ – as we were reminded of Wendy, she is mahirap and she points on other important -facts- that she, more than the anyone else in the house, deserves to win the jackpot.
In psychology, there are terms “unconscious” and “subconscious”. We tend to say the things in our mind (most of the time in passing) and convey them into actions. Our thoughts will always be reflected in our decisions, comments, actions and even dreams. Ever since she entered the PBB House, I can no longer count the number of times she mentioned “the prize”, “ung pera” or the “isang milyon”. This is an indication that she always have the eye on the prize. From this we can deduce that she has a drive to win (intense drive, that is. count the number of times she ementioned “isang milyon” on PBB his week). We also see how she uses this as a reason on the nominations she made.. “hindi nya kailangan ung prize” is the most common thing she says as reason for nominating someone.
Using HER TERM, ang “SAFE” nya para ibigay ang reason na yan palagi sa nominees nya. The number of times she says any statement including ‘isang milyon’ means that wala na syang ibang inisip kundi ‘isang milyon’. (can you imagine a cartoon character with a currency symbol reflected in his/her/its eyes???)
And as we all know, basta determinado ang tao, s/he can do EVERYTHING including playing games in the dirtiest way possible, making up stories and resorting to crude strategies.
4. ‘plastik’ – the current rift between Gee-ann and Wendy probably stemmed from the selos of Wendy. Yeah, the whole nation knows that Wendy and Bruce are very much on to each other, but the events that followed (and the selos in ITSELF) proved that Wendy, despite having a very close relationship with Bruce, is insecure kay Gee-ann. Although Gee-ann and Bruce said hat there is nothing between them, Wendy still is, convinced that there definitely is something between the two….
-this girl’s imagination, its unbelievable, really-
(SO, TRUST ISSUE PALA TO BETWEEN BRUCE AND WENDY? ANG LAYO NA HA…)
When Gee-ann nominated Wendy, it was and still is a big issue for Wendy. HOW ABOUT WHEN NEL NOMINATED BRUCE? If Wendy has this friendship she calls with Gee-ann, she would have forgiven her ‘traydor’ act. But she hadn’t forgiven Gee-ann (is it maybe because she still thinks that Gee-ann’s a contender for Bruce’s attention?!)
One more thing, in psychology may term na “projection”. it is attributing one’s own characteristics (usually the undesirable ones) to others. So, hindi kaya si Wendy ang tunay na plastik? She assured Gee-ann that its OK lang sa kanya nung na nominate sya ni Gee-ann, then ang totoo pala masama pa ang loob nya nun and even after that moment na she was asked)
5. ‘not closing doors’ – pero bakit ayaw nyang pakinggan yung explanations ni Bea.
This statement is NOT CONGRUENT with what she actually does in the PBB House.
On PBB June 20 episode, Bea tries to converse with Wendy while they stood on the ‘cake”.
Wendy proves to be unconfrontational.
Wendy always points out what is wrong with other people.
She has always been in critique of what others did/does.
She always judges what they do and worse, dismisses certain actions (ung kina Bea and Gee-ann) as against her.
She is CONVINCED and IS STUCK to what she WANTS to believe
(HONESTLY, is this a sign of not closing doors?)
The current situation in the house should be a time for Wendy to reflect on her own actions.
For me, Wendy has resorted to CRUDE strategies as the PBB Season 2 reaches the “Big Night”. And being outside the PBB House for a short while (the time between after she was evicted until she was given another chance to stay inside Kuya’s house) definitely has given her a chance to hear feedbacks regarding her play on the house. These things certainly, have given her ideas on how to work her way on to winning the million (wag na tayong magplastikan, right?!)
And now that she’s back in the house, its time to apply them- at the stake of straining relationships and affecting every (concerned) person in the house in ways that the other housemates are TOO APATHETIC to sense and the other viewers are TOO EAGER TO BUY.
FORGET HER PREDICTIONS ON THE ‘AWARDS’
SHE’LL BEAT ANYONE ON THE ‘BEST ACTRESS IN A PRETENDING ROLE’, with flying colors.
all i can say is that PBB is only for entertainment and nothing we can get to be productive with in our lives so the producer must think that they affect the lives of viewers and they must be responsible enough to influence others specialy children ………
For the management use your power and wealth to lead the people or the viewers to the right direction for our country ….

I am writing to seek help for Gee-ann Abrahan who is presently a housemate inside Pinoy Big
Brother’s house.
Gee-Ann is a 3rd year Mass Communication student at the Assumption College in Makati. Her parents are separated and she lives in Quezon City.
Gee-ann is noted as the “sologs” (sosyal na jologs) housemate of Pinoy Big Brother Season 2. Declaring her fondness for TV soap operas and local films, she entertained us with her “Dying Inside,” “Bizarre Love Triangle,” and “Andrew Ford Medina” performances and amused us with her hilarious “forevermore” and “mahigpit pa ang kapit ng gamu-gamo” lines. Gee-ann deconstructed our notion of the typical “sosy girls” or “kolehiyalas”. She transcended stereotypes and rose above imposed values. She headed out a new awareness that a person can, in fact, savor the best of both worlds.
An outstanding student from Kinder to Grade 6 at Miriam College, one of the highest-ranking examinees in the Assumption College High School Entrance Exam, and a Dean’s Lister in College, she has brought the same level of excellence inside PBB house by winning the 9×9 Sudoku Puzzle Task (Gee-ann is a self-confessed 16×16 Sudoku wizard), the League Task Lambitin, and the Tug of War Task. She also composed some of the songs in the Puppet Show Task, dazzled us with her cheerleading prowess and largely contributed bright ideas in the group’s brainstorming. Plus, she successfully accomplished her personal tasks — Blindfold for A Day Task and Laundry Task.
Together with Mickey, Bodie, and Beatrice, Jasmine, Dionne and even Kian attest that Gee-ann is one of the housemates who has established a meaningful connection with them, a bond that is beyond mere harmonious co-existence but a friendship which entails genuine concern for another housemate and innate generosity to other people.

As PBB2 unfolded, Gee-ann also underwent a total character transformation before us. Initially, she hit us with her “Pamela Monologues.” In the course of events, she gave up Pamela, not just to spare her from being automatically nominated, but she realized that it was an opportune chance to set off her maturity and emotional growth. And it did.
We were all first-hand onlookers to how she progressively acquired household skills, social competence and an ethical stand. Her surprising confrontation with Dionne, her heartfelt dialogue with Kian, and currently, her attempts to withstand Wendy’s cruel remarks are verification that Gee-ann is, after all, so much more than mere
charisma.
Gee-ann, therefore, possesses redeeming qualities which added value to the show. She instigated a change in our sensibilities by revealing the other side of today’s reality.
If Gee-ann becomes the Big Winner of PBB2, she will challenge and reconstruct our socio-psychological mind-set. We will be able to break free from a “survival of the fittest” attitude in which survival is obtained by outdoing, harassing, and critically judging another person. Through Gee-ann’s triumph, many will realize that there are far more important things than conforming to socially constructed standards — that a resentful heart and a wicked motive is far more harmful than a childlike habitual gesture to cope with life’s disappointments. PBB will be able to revolutionize our now twisted ideology and degraded moral values — that a person’s burning desire to alleviate HER condition can never justify HER WRONG ACTIONS.
Gee-ann is a reminder that we have evolved into a society which recognizes interdependence. At times, we need a little humility to tolerate our imperfection, to put us in touch with other people, and to allow them to show their care for us. She made us aware that despite our irreconcilable differences and conflicts of interests, each person must be treated with respect and dignity.
This is an appeal to your kindness to help us keep Gee-ann inside PBB house. Let us put our resources together and do everything to ensure her win in this competition. Let us encourage our friends and relatives to vote for Gee-ann and to campaign for her in our offices and among our circle of friends
Let’s do this together and prove that PBB is not a farce. We will take a stand and we will do something.

An Open Letter to PBB Management
I would like to express my disappointment with PBB season 2 and its management. I know this letter will most likely be ignored but still I would like to vent my frustration over three things: (1) the misleading announcements/teasers, (2) the grossly biased editing of the primetime edition, and (3) the livestreaming.
MISLEADING ANNOUNCEMENTS/TEASERS
In the April 28 episode of PBB on primetime, Toni Gonzaga announced that a housemate would be forcibly evicted, but the identity of the said housemate will be revealed on the next day’s episode, April 29. So the viewers waited with bated breath for the April 29 episode. However, the April 29 episode only showed the confrontation which transpired between Bea and Maricris, ending with Toni’s pronouncement (again!), “kung sino ang mapapatawan ng forced eviction, abangan bukas.” The viewers waited with bated breath for this very important development, only to learn that the scheduled announcement was put off for the next day. Toni did not even explain why.
This is not the first time that PBB misled its viewing public. This also happened with the balut episode of Tina. It was announced in TV Patrol World and in the PBB Update of Bianca Gonzales that the balut episode would be shown on the PBB primetime edition that evening. However, the primetime episode only showed the same teaser shown on TVPW and Update, with Toni saying, “abangan ang buong kaganapan bukas.”
Are you doing this for the ratings, or what? TV rating is the only possible reason I can think of why you have to fool the viewing public. And fool us, you did.
GROSSLY BIASED EDITING OF THE PRIMETIME EDITION
Since the first season, I have already observed the one-sided editing of PBB shown on primetime to favor certain housemates. This season, the unfair editing is so disgusting. You can’t blame us if we think you are trying to protect a certain housemate because of your very crude and biased editing, as in garapal talaga.
I am referring in particular to Wendy Valdez. It is very obvious that you are favoring and protecting her because you never show her bad side on primetime, whereas you have no qualms in showing the bad side of the other housemates. Some of her bad behavior which you did not show on primetime include, but are not limited to, the following :
1. Wendy’s rudeness to Tina such as: speaking in Tagalog while looking at Tina then laughing out loud – Tina even had to ask her several times if she (Wendy) wanted to say something; while sharing a cigarette, Wendy commented, “ke bago bago, nakiki-share”; while they were together with some other housemates, Tina was talking about Europe then Wendy said, “ang boring,” and immediately left; Wendy only talked to Tina because BB gave her a task.
2. Wendy and her cohorts having their backbiting sessions inside the prayer room, neither were they punished. The house rule state that, “The prayer room is a special spiritual place in the Big Brother house where you can contemplate, read the Bible or other spiritual materials, and pray. You are not allowed to hangout and conduct other activities in the Prayer Room. Keeping the place solemn is the rule.”
3. Wendy violated the “no mouthing of words” rule. Even Bodie, her ally, called her attention to this, but she was not given an automatic nomination. Her automatic nomination was for the lapel microphone which she turned off.
4. She called Saicy’s attention when the latter started to hang out with Gee-Ann, telling her, “akala ko doon ka na sa kanila.” Apparently, she does not want her minions to associate with the other housemates. And she had the gall to comment that the other girl housemates do not hang out with them! It is she herself who is creating a faction with herself as leader. Those not in her group are the subject of their backbiting sessions.
There are more incidents of Wendy’s bad attitude never shown on primetime. I don’t need to enumerate all, as I am sure, you are well aware of them. You just chose to ignore them to make Wendy look good on primetime.
Another disgusting thing about primetime is your tendency to show a particular event several days late. Whereas in the previous editions of PBB, events occurring on a particular day are shown on primetime the next day, now it’s shown two or three days after. And some scenes are stretched over several days like Wendy’s overacting reaction to Bruce’s leaving. The viewers had to suffer through it for several days. Oh, come on! We are fed up with the Wendy-Bruce “loveteam.”
I pity the viewers who rely only on the primetime edition and do not follow the events on the “24/7” livestream. They are the ones being duped. All TV viewers deserved to see both the good and the bad side of each housemate.
“24/7” LIVESTREAMING
Some subscribers sarcastically call the supposedly 24/7 live feeds as only 20/7. Why? Because they pay for 24/7 access but there are times you turn the feeds off to compel them to watch the unfolding events on primetime instead. You are cheating the subscribers of their money. And you claim “technical reasons” as your excuse. The subscribers are not stupid.
Another indication that you tend to favor Wendy: There are times when the two cameras showing the live feeds are focused only on Wendy even when she is not doing anything. Naka-tunganga lang siya, pero nakatutok ang dalawang camera sa kanya! There are other housemates in the house, why focus on Wendy alone? If your cameramen are so smitten with Wendy that they cannot help but focus on Wendy, at least assign one camera to the other housemates. The subscribers do not pay good money just to watch Wendy on live feed.
Would it be too much to ask for an improvement in your management of PBB?
I used to be an avid follower of PBB since season one but I am beginning to wonder if season two is worth all the trouble. I just hope your machination won’t backfire on you.

to the parents of Bea, congratulations for raising such a level-headed and compassionate girl with class and intelligence. in the last couple of episodes of PBB, Bea demonstrated that she can still see the good side of people even when faced with somebody like Wendy (shameful shameful character). she continues on defending Wendy’s actions by saying “i’m sure di nya mini-mean yung mga sinasabi nya”, just because Wendy is eaten up by greed, jealousy, insecurity and hatred. Bea even scolded Nel for allowing Wendy to become drunk, and questioned how nobody challenged Wendy when she rearranged the masks to exclude hers, G-ann’s and Dionne’s “asan kayo nung inayos ni Wendy yung masks, bakit di nyo man lang sya pinagsabihan”. she consoles G-ann and shows how she can be a good friend within a competition — “lakasan mo ang loob mo, kasi pano kung ako ang umalis ng bahay at maiwan ka dito kasama nila”. the other housemates can learn a thing or two from her about behaving rationally. even big brother can learn a lot from this girl. surely, growing up without a father by one’s side (as Wendy would argue) is not a ticket to becoming a bitter and self-centerd brat, and Bea is the perfect example of this. hats-off to Bea! i hope she wins (alongside Mickey, whose also a remarkable character, and G-ann whom frankly i didn’t like at first but now understand perfectly). these three people have shown the real pinoy compassion, strength, and wisdom, and they deserve to win. i don’t really vote on PBB but i’m making this season an exception. i am voting for Bea cos she deserves to emerge as one of the winners (even the ultimate winner). to Bea’s dad and mom, again congratulations! i’m sure you’re both very proud of her. we all are!

im not fond of this..and this is actually one of the first instances that i would react on PBB…Wendy is disgusting and a disgrace to the Filipinos.
