Mukhang ang bukambibig ni franzen pagkalabas ng bahay ay huwag maging pasaway. Hindi ko alam kung ito ang utos sa kanya ng management o kusang galing sa kanya pero isa nga ito sa mga dapat niyang sabihin ngayon na nasa labas na siya ng bahay. Malaki rin ang naging kapalit ng kanyang mga pagsuway. Limang milyon worth of prizes ang nawala sa kanyang mga kamay dahil sa mga nagawa niya. Kung ako nga sa kanya ay iningatan ko ang pagkakataon na yun. Sayang at hindi na niya mapapanalunan ang malaking premyo. Sana lang ay maging maganda na ang takbo ng buhay niya paglabas sa real world. Suportahan pa rin natin si Franzen kahit na nasa labas na siya ng bahay. Lalo niyang kailangan nito ngayon. Sana ay magtuloy-tuloy na ang kanyang pagsikat niya at maging idolo siya ng masang Pilipino.
Walang masama kung maging bukambibig ni Franzen na magpapakabuti na sya. Sa tingin ko mukha namang sincere yung intentions niya eh. (Eh si Pangulong Arroyo?) Pero ang pinakaimportante doon, dapat ay gawin nya ang mga pagbabagong gusto nya para sa sarili niya at para sa kanyang pamilya.
Unang-una, dapat iwasan na ni Franzen ang nakaugalian niyang “self-pity” o laging naaawa sa kanyang sarili. Dito siya laging pinagsasabihan ng mga housemates nya pero hindi siya nakinig. Hanggang sa bago siya mapalayas sa bahay, ito pa rin ang ipinakita niya sa harap ng camera (e.g. pag-iyak, pagiging sobrang tahimik). Ito rin ang attitude na hindi nagustuhan ng ibang tao na dating pro-Franzen pero na-turn off sa sobra niyang pagiging pasaway. Kung hindi niya maiaalis ang ganitong attitude, mahihirapan siyang magbago kung gugustuhin niya.
Pangalawa, dapat niyang iwasan ang pagiging self-focused. Na-turn off nga ang nanay ko sa kanya noong 100 seconds niya dahil mismong petsa ng birthday ng asawa niya hindi niya naibigay ng tama; ano kaya ang pumasok sa isip niya? Ang gusto ko sana ay ma-realize ni Franzen na maraming nagmamahal sa paligid niya, at sana ay masuklian niya ang pagmamahal na iyon. Siguro by now alam na ni Franzen kung gaano kalaki ang hirap ni Lovejoy para sa kanya: nagpakapal talaga ng mukha para lang maikampanya si Franzen sa bus, sa jeep at sa mga shopping mall. Mas hanga ako kay Joy dahil talagang gagawin niya ang lahat alang-alang sa pagmamahal niya kay Franzen, hinding-hindi niya iniwan si Franzen sa kabila ng lahat to such extent na, before PBB, si Joy lang ang bumubuhay sa pamilya nila. (Para nga sa akin, may may napatunayan pa si Joy kaysa kay Franzen, pero hindi iyon gaano pinansin ng mga tao. Kung pag-iisipan nating lahat, napakasuwerte ni Franzen at nagkaroon siya ng ganong klase ng mapagmahal at matapat na asawa. Given a choice, kay Joy ko gusto ibigay ang lahat ng premyo sa Pinoy Big Brother.) Kaya nga naunawaan ko kung nahihiya man si Franzen sa libo-libong mga fans na nagmamahal sa kanya (pakiramdam niya binigo niya silang lahat). Kaya it’s about time na ibalik ni Franzen ang lahat ng pagmamahal na ibinigay ng tao sa kanya…kung hindi man higit pa, at least yung lahat ng kaya niyang ibigay.
Pangatlo, dapat palagi siyang nakikinig kapag pinagsasabihan siya. Ilang ulit na siyang binalaan ni Big Brother ngunit wala pa ring nangyari. Ilang ulit pa rin siyang pinayuhan ng kapwa housemates niya pero parang walang nagbago. Inamin niya mismo na noong nag-aaral pa siya ay pasaway na siya. Kung nakinig siya noon pa man, marahil ay nagbago pa ang takbo ng buhay niya, baka hindi na niya kinailangan pang sumali sa contest na ito. Gayunpaman, ngayong nasa labas na siya ng bahay, naniniwala akong mapapabuti pa ni Franzen ang kanyang buhay. Sa edad na 23, mas bata pa siya sa akin, at alam kong may oras pa siya para makapagsimulang muli. At maliit pa ang kanyang anak, kaya may panahon pa siya para maipamalas niya ang pagiging isang mabuting halimbawa para sa kanyang anak (para hindi dumating sa point na si Franzen mismo ang magkaroon ng problema sa kanyang anak).

Kung sakali man na isa kayo sa mga taong iyon at masalubong ninyo si Franzen, huwag nyo sanang kalimutang magpasalamat sa kanya, sa lahat ng naibigay niya at naipakita niya habang nasa loob siya ng bahay. Kamustahin ninyo siya at ang buhay niya ngayon sa labas, at kung may ibalita man siya na magandang bago tungkol sa buhay niya, ipakita ninyo ang inyong appreciation. Kung may maitutulong kayo para sa kanya at sa kanyang pamilya sa kahit papaanong paraan, tulungan ninyo siya. Kalimutan na ang mga maaanghang na salita tungkol sa mga kapwa niya housemates at sa pagiging unfair ni PBB dahil…aanhin naman ‘yon ni Franzen? Mas kailangan niya ang pagmamahal nino. Naniniwala ako na kapag naramdaman ni Franzen sa mas konkretong paraan kung gaano siya kamahal ng mga tao ay abot-abot ang magiging tuwa niya, at lalo pa siyang magkakaroon ng bagong sigla sa buhay niya. Kaya para sa mga fans ni Kakosa…naghihintay lang siya para sa inyo. Sana maging bahagi pa rin kayo ng kanyang mga susunod na tagumpay, kabiguan, tuwa at lungkot. Huwag ninyo siyang iiwanan
