Natalo nga siya at nung tinanong siya ng media tungkol sa sinabi niyang iyon, ang sabi niya lang na: ‘I lied’ sabay tawa. (Ibang klaseng tawa nga yun e, yung tawa ni Nicole Eala ng Love radio). Sa bagay may difference naman yung ‘I lied’ ni Gee-ann. Si Miriam tumawa nung sinabi niya yun, si Gee-ann naman umiyak. Though pwedeng sabihin ng mga tao na may pagkakapareho naman itong si Gee-ann at Miriam since ang sabi ng iba na pareho silang baliw. Hehe.
Ano kaya ang secret na ito ni Gee-ann? Gaano ba kasensitive ang information na ito para hindi ilahad? Wala talaga akong idea kung tungkol saan yung ‘I lied’ na yun. Ang sabi lang kasi ni Gee-ann before pa yun. So I guess parang may sinabi siya nung audition para sa Big Brother na hindi totoo like since mayaman siya she find Pinoy ig Brother cheap kaya lang ang totoo super-avid viewer siya at matagal na niyang gustong sumali dahil alam niya kung paano ito laruin. Hula ko lang naman yun. I wasn’t born a fortune teller so malamang mali ytung hula ko. Kayo? Ano ang hula niyo? Ano yung lie ni Gee-ann?

Wendy is not a good example to the viewing public. I think ABS-CBN should look into this.If their objective is to entertain people thru balanced and quality programs, certainly this “Wendy” thing doesn’t qualify as one. They should act on this now especially a lot of minors are watching the program. She is trying to win the hearts of the public for for selfish reasons. She tries to manipulate everybody in the house which indicates a “bullyish” personality. She’s well too driven with her ambitions and motives even at the expense of others not only with the girl, G-Ann, but also to the other fellow housemates. Just imagine how will it be if the fans of the show especially the young ones will imitate this behavior. Please this is not entertaining at all….

In defense of the bloggers who said she has no breeding, they’re not illiterate! They are people who are educated enough to behave in a a very likely manner that they couldn’t understand why Wendy behaved in such a way. Yes, everybody in the PBB wants to win. But does Wendy understand it? Did it ever sink in to her brains that she’s in a game and everybody has their own motives? Does she know the word being “objective”? Sometimes i get mad about what’s goin on the the house of kuya, but there are times i just laugh it off! Who knows, this could just be the PBB’s tactics to boost their ratings and we get affected so much. But if how Wendy behaves is how she really feels, then i say she’s very mean. Hope she realize that provoking Bea and Gee-Ann is not a good tactic. You know what, causing any form of pain to someone is a sin. By one way or another if what we do hurts someone, we’re accountable to God. That’s why Wendy should not say that Bea and GeeAnn are not acting real. Wendy, there are people who behaves like you and there are people who behaves Like Bea and Gee-Ann. You can’t expect them to fight you face to face or confront you since there are people whose characteristics are civil. There are people who are not martyr but humble enough to swallow all the pains so not to agravate you or hurt you in a way that you’ve hurt them. Aren’t we lucky there are people who tolerates our indifferences? Had it been that there was none, do you think our civilization would last long? Sabi nga ni Yani if you know him, it’s tolerance to our indifference that will make our nations unite. I agree because through it we could compromise. But in the case of Wendy, she doesn’t have this characteristics. All she thinks is about herself and how hurt she is. It never occurred to her how she might have hurt them in one way or another. Maybe we should stop giving bad comments about Wendy’s past cause it’s hitting below the belt already. But i still do understand this guys who’ve said these things against Wendy. I don’t blame her for being who she was and where she grew up. That’s why it’s important for us Filipinos to rear our children and family with utmost care and love. Actually I was disgrace with the result last Saturday (June 23) that I dint watch last nigh and I have no plans of watching again, if not for mickey ayaw ko na talaga ma nood.
With all the heckler of wendy and bruce I’m just wondering how come they were not evicted last nigh? What’s going on channel 2…
I don’t want to add comments regarding Wendy/Bruce because it’s very obvious what kind of person they are , I’m not stuffing down to them.
To those who expressed there comment on wendy/ bruce, we have expressed out thoughts and opinion, I suggest there’s no need to fight with those who like or believe in Wendy and Bruce. People Believe what they Believe, NO need to question once opinion, sa akin basura si wnedy at bruce sa iba hindi so let it be.. Let just hope that the true will prevail at the end.

“I have worked for abs-cbn for almost 4 years now, since i finished my MA on mass com – broadcast communication in 2003. as part of production on news and current affairs, my work has been mostly rewarding, with good benefits despite the low base pay (i’m including this part so you would understand why i accepted the offer to be transferred to conceptualization of some reality shows particularly the current one, PBB.) because of the sensitivity of my status (i am still working there) i cannot divulge my name, gender and current position in ABS CBN. still, i would like to inform those who are interested (who, most probably, are now wondering why Wendy Valdez is still inside the house and not evicted yet, as most must have assumed.)
When i was asked if i wanted to be part of the conceptualization of the current and upcoming reality shows that ABS CBN would be showing (with higher compensation, obviously), i accepted the offer. how bad can it get, i said, since most of these shows run on public voting and my job would mostly include thinking of the “challenges” that Kuya instructs the housemates to do.
Apparently, conceptualization incorporates more than that. as i have known after the pre-screening of the auditioners, as early as the application process, we have to note who we think will “attract the public most” and who we think will “make the ratings go off the roof.” after the initial screening, we had to choose the top 100 of the batch, and even though some did not “theoretically pass” the audition (some weren’t able to complete the documents needed), since they have mass appeal, they made it to the first cut, and some were even included in the finalists that entered the BB house.
As you all know, the eviction process is supposed to be based on the votes that the “nominated housemates” – the housemate with the lowest vote will be evicted. i dont know about the previous editions of the PBB (since i only worked under this series this season), but what surprised us the most was when we were informed that the voting only affects the decision minimally – that the voting actually shows who the public wants to see again the following day – but that was it. the truth is, there are so-called “talent auditors.” these people are the ones who really put the big decision as to who will be evicted, and who will stay. of course, this never became obvious since i cannot deny the fact that we receive millions of votes during eviction night. that is, until wendy was evicted, and then later returned to join the housemates who are legitimately still in the contest. and the reason is this: the wendy-bruce loveteam is working. have you ever noticed why most of the episodes are focused on the wendy-bruce loveteam? it is because ratings are really high, meaning that people want to see how their relationship develops.
I have never received this much question about my work before. my friends want to know how someone who was already evicted be suddenly returned to the house. actually, that is one of the “twists” that are really planned to be included in the show. but there are actually 3 evicted housemates that were vying to be returned to the house, and wendy was one of them. we were asked who we think should be the one to return to the house, and zeke won. but after discussing that the wendy-bruce love team was too interesting to abruptly end, it was wendy who got the spot. aside from that, we were later informed by one of the production managers who was disappointed with the decision, wendy was “direk dyogi’s pet.”
I told this story to some of my friends, and they were surprised to know the truth, particularly because some of them were voting for their favorite contestant. i told them only one thing – that they are just wasting their money in voting. as i have personally seen, the path of the contest is already drawn, and the voting only affects the decision minimally, as i have said. this only tells us who the public wants to see again inside the house. the eviction of nel tonight is the classic example. nel got the 2nd lowest number of votes, wendy got the lowest. but the administrators think that perhaps the wendy-bruce loveteam is still up, so we had to give it one last shot. if the ratings go down, or if on tuesday (the next eviction night), wendy still gets the lowest vote, she’s out of the contest.
I did not want to reveal all of these, partly because of my loyalty to the company that has given me so much over the years, but i personally think that it is unfair to make one suffer for another’s gain. since i have done background checks on the housemates, i know for a fact that nel isn’t very well-off, and should have been given his chance fairly. i feel bad to know that i am included in a ploy to confuse and even fool people into believing that they control the outcome of the show. that is why i went ahead and did this post. i wanted people to know how PBB works.
If you really want to let the network know how disappointed you are with the outcome, make the ratings go down at least until tuesday. and do not waste your money in voting, or if you really want to and have the means to do so, vote for who you really think should be included in the big 4 – this way, hopefully, wendy will be out on tuesday for good.”

Thanks Bebang, for the enlightenment. I accept I was also fooled by the twist of the show but now I realized ‘wala itong pinagkaiba sa maruming mundo ng politika’. Inaabangan ko pa naman ito gabi-gabi kahit na magkanda-puyat pa ako. Literally, the show is for the money, and the name ‘big brother’ is a bogus. Sana naman naunawaan ito ng lahat ng mga nagko-comment dito para di na rin sila mag-aksaya ng panahon at mag-init ang kanilang ulo dahil lang sa isang palabas na ewan (di ko alam ang right term). We have enough trouble of our own so why bother with this one ‘money’ show. Utakan lang pala ang lahat. Salamat ulit, ngayon ay tipid na sa load, tipid pa sa kuryente, wala ng init ng ulo. An Open Letter To The PBB Management
I would like to express my disappointment with PBB season 2 and its management. I know this letter will most likely be ignored but still I would like to vent my frustration over three things: (1) the misleading announcements/ teasers, (2) the grossly biased editing of the primetime edition, and (3) the livestreaming.
MISLEADING ANNOUNCEMENTS/ TEASERS
In the April 28 episode of PBB on primetime, Toni Gonzaga announced that a housemate would be forcibly evicted, but the identity of the said housemate will be revealed on the next day’s episode, April 29. So the viewers waited with bated breath for the April 29 episode. However, the April 29 episode only showed the confrontation which transpired between Bea and Maricris, ending with Toni’s pronouncement (again!), “kung sino ang mapapatawan ng forced eviction, abangan bukas.” The viewers waited with bated breath for this very important development, only to learn that the scheduled announcement was put off for the next day. Toni did not even explain why.
This is not the first time that PBB misled its viewing public. This also happened with the balut episode of Tina. It was announced in TV Patrol World and in the PBB Update of Bianca Gonzales that the balut episode would be shown on the PBB primetime edition that evening. However, the primetime episode only showed the same teaser shown on TVPW and Update, with Toni saying, “abangan ang buong kaganapan bukas.”
Are you doing this for the ratings, or what? TV rating is the only possible reason I can think of why you have to fool the viewing public. And fool us, you did.
GROSSLY BIASED EDITING OF THE PRIMETIME EDITION
Since the first season, I have already observed the one-sided editing of PBB shown on primetime to favor certain housemates. This season, the unfair editing is so disgusting. You can’t blame us if we think you are trying to protect a certain housemate because of your very crude and biased editing, as in garapal talaga.
I am referring in particular to Wendy Valdez. It is very obvious that you are favoring and protecting her because you never show her bad side on primetime, whereas you have no qualms in showing the bad side of the other housemates. Some of her bad behavior which you did not show on primetime include, but are not limited to, the following :
1. Wendy’s rudeness to Tina such as: speaking in Tagalog while looking at Tina then laughing out loud – Tina even had to ask her several times if she (Wendy) wanted to say something; while sharing a cigarette, Wendy commented, “ke bago bago, nakiki-share” ; while they were together with some other housemates, Tina was talking about Europe then Wendy said, “ang boring,” and immediately left; Wendy only talked to Tina because BB gave her a task.
2. Wendy and her cohorts having their backbiting sessions inside the prayer room, neither were they punished. The house rule state that, “The prayer room is a special spiritual place in the Big Brother house where you can contemplate, read the Bible or other spiritual materials, and pray. You are not allowed to hangout and conduct other activities in the Prayer Room. Keeping the place solemn is the rule.”
3. Wendy violated the “no mouthing of words” rule. Even Bodie, her ally, called her attention to this, but she was not given an automatic nomination. Her automatic nomination was for the lapel microphone which she turned off.
4. She called Saicy’s attention when the latter started to hang out with Gee-Ann, telling her, “akala ko doon ka na sa kanila.” Apparently, she does not want her minions to associate with the other housemates. And she had the gall to comment that the other girl housemates do not hang out with them! It is she herself who is creating a faction with herself as leader. Those not in her group are the subject of their backbiting sessions.
There are more incidents of Wendy’s bad attitude never shown on primetime. I don’t need to enumerate all, as I am sure, you are well aware of them. You just chose to ignore them to make Wendy look good on primetime.
Another disgusting thing about primetime is your tendency to show a particular event several days late. Whereas in the previous editions of PBB, events occurring on a particular day are shown on primetime the next day, now it’s shown two or three days after. And some scenes are stretched over several days like Wendy’s overacting reaction to Bruce’s leaving. The viewers had to suffer through it for several days. Oh, come on! We are fed up with the Wendy-Bruce “loveteam.”
I pity the viewers who rely only on the primetime edition and do not follow the events on the “24/7” livestream. They are the ones being duped. All TV viewers deserved to see both the good and the bad side of each housemate.
“24/7” LIVESTREAMING
Some subscribers sarcastically call the supposedly 24/7 live feeds as only 20/7. Why? Because they pay for 24/7 access but there are times you turn the feeds off to compel them to watch the unfolding events on primetime instead. You are cheating the subscribers of their money. And you claim “technical reasons” as your excuse. The subscribers are not stupid.
Another indication that you tend to favor Wendy: There are times when the two cameras showing the live feeds are focused only on Wendy even when she is not doing anything. Naka-tunganga lang siya, pero nakatutok ang dalawang camera sa kanya! There are other housemates in the house, why focus on Wendy alone? If your cameramen are so smitten with Wendy that they cannot help but focus on Wendy, at least assign one camera to the other housemates. The subscribers do not pay good money just to watch Wendy on live feed.
Would it be too much to ask for an improvement in your management of PBB?
I used to be an avid follower of PBB since season one but I am beginning to wonder if season two is worth all the trouble. I just hope your machination won’t backfire on you.

wow si bodie pa ang natanggal??! over wendy, hay KUYA. Your making the show more “UN-CREDIBLE”. Sobrang hindi good example si Wendy sa mga kabataan ngayon. Eh lam naman nating mga pinoy na sabay sabay ang buong pamilya kadalasan na nanood ng tv. What will the next generation think, na ok lang maging war freak? and yet she’s hailed pa by KUYA for that. We cant judge Wendy, she has the right to be her BUT we have to take into consideration sana that TV is very influential, and with all of of the hoaxes and killings that is happening with the Gloria Administration, like that of the Maguindano counting, WHY WOULD ABS CBN ADD UP TO IT??? Why not make a good show,a respectable one, a show that would show the youth the dignified way of doing things.
I am now disgusted with two shows. hay. Pinoy Big Brother Season 2 and WOWOWIE. Why ? Why would the host allow hundreds and hundreds of masa (the real people who deserves to win) to join the contest and then allow the participants ( the incredibly rich ones, the ones who makes a crown out of thick stashes of dollars and places it on their heads) to join din? and then they would be matched up, ofcourse the poor people would lose. helller! Sayang naman pumila rin yung mga yun. Tapos look at the concept of the show sobrang focus kunyari sa pagtulong pero cmon puro kalibugan lang ni willie. The camera would focus pa on a very low angle showing WILLIE peeping under his dancers’ skirts. LUNCH TIME pa naman show niya. and where do they place the donations given by the ofws who watches the show, dapat meron representative sana from a foundation na trustworthy at hindi nila pagmamay-ari na pwedeng magpakita ng mga ginawa at binibigay nila.That’s is if he i really bent on HELPING. Style lang din nila like how they manipulated the audience with the bruce and wendy “loveteam”on big brother and the voting KUNO. Kalimutan din ba natin yung pagkamatay ng marami dahil dun sa WOWOWIE na yun. Hay nako isa din yang si Willie, dami pang offenses,kaso nga love ng ABS CBN kasi marunong lang talaga mang-attract ng “investors” epecially the JAPANESE. Sobrang familiar ang approach. Kun sabagay pareho daw “W” WILLIE AND WENDY.

[I saw Dyogi’s explanation on PT tonight and here are my reactions:
PBB Concept – Dyogi claimed that the concept is already made by Endemol. True! But this is a general concept on how the reality show should be run. It does not mean the PBB cannot conceptualize scenarios, events, happenings, scripts, storylines, and other situations that they deem significant inside the house. Right after Dir. Reyes lambasted PBB, Dyogi defended by saying that they “designed the show to fit to the taste of the Filipino masa para hindi maging boring.” He even said that it is “like a telenovela.” In other words, Dyogi confirmed that “concepts” were being created. Was he trying to play with our sensibilities?
Wendy is Dyogi’s Pet – Dyogi categorically denied this. But what about the Balik-Bahay concept? Why were the other evicted HMs not included? And during voting Wendy came out with a wide margin? She was evicted because many did not like her; but then she got the highest votes during the Balik-Bahay when another extensive campaign was organized so Wendy could not return. This is unbelievable considering that she has the lowest votes during the 7th eviction. PBB might have the electronic evidence to show that Wendy got the highest votes, but it is possible that PBB infused votes (from management and staff) to show that Wendy is leading. Thus, the votes did not come from the public making it obvious that Wendy is not the public’s pet but Dyogi’s pet.
Manipulation of Votes – Pineda said that ABS-CBN Interactive handles the voting process not PBB. But the unit is still part of ABS-CBN, thus biased and partial. The unit claimed that they hired a third party – an audting firm (without a name) – to monitor the votes cast on June 17. He said that manipulation is impossible because voting is electronic. Is he trying to fool us? Who said that electronic votes cannot be manipulated. Ask any IT / computer science specialist and they would laugh at this statement! In order to secure the votes, a third party would be the only witness to ensure the sanctity of the votes. But that third party was “hired” by Interactive, thus still bias and partial. A third party must be a group that is “not hired” but must represent certain interest groups to ensure that public votes are not manipulated. The auditing firm was also engaged from June 17 onwards. Does this mean that votes prior to June 17 were not monitored? This is unacceptable!
Talent Auditors – Even Toni acceded that she has not heard of that term before. Although this is not a common term used in showbiz, there are talent coordinators whose main responsibilities include “auditing talents.” The word “audit” means to assess, gauge, measure, evaluate, and test public impact of a talent. This might be the term used by the writer, it does not mean a “position” but a “function.”
Dispersed Votes – Dyogi said that it was very probable for Wendy to get higher votes because fans of other HMs voted in a disperse manner. But he has to consider that these “disperse votes” reflect a huge number compared to Wendy’s solid fans. Statistically, a huge number (to include fans of evicted HMs and other citizens who are not in the forums) have bigger impact than a few concentrated votes. If one remembers the 7th eviction night, votes were dispersed between Dionne, Saicy, and Wendy. The majority voted for Dionne because many wanted Wendy out. And Dionne got the highest votes. Thus Dyogi’s explanation is not convincing. But since votes are not a reflection of the number of individuals who voted, but the cash flow …. then this is where manipulation can be rife because votes can be “managed.”
Dir. Dyogi instead of Dir. Lauren – Does this matter? Is this material? One can call his boss “bosing” in a working environment but call him otherwise in a different environment. One can call Madame President in Malacañang but refers to her differently outside the palace. The terminology used by the writer does not prove that he/she is not from ABS-CBN.

I’m confuse right now if true ba ang result ng vote ng abs cbn kasi ginamit pa nila ang SGV. well im my own perspective parang unfair ang result. First na out si Neil and finally di na evict si Wendy. Wendy is a genious devil. She will use everything just to get what she want kahit na may naaapakan na siya ( it is not a friendly competition). if ganon ang true color ni wendy sa loob ng Pbb house ano na lang kaya sa totong bahay nito? To prove something and being true to your self beyond mortal comprehension. But i do believe that dealing with people doesn’t require of being absolutely true to your self. I just want to make a point sa lahat ng nahuhumaling sa pbb, specifically, and sa lahat ng “talent-search/contest” shows ng abs-cbn,in general. Like you, I was once an avid viewer of Pinoy Big Brother since pero I was turned off because of the first-hand facts i have known…
From the very start pa lang i have been hearing of rumors na “nagfifixed” ng magiging winners sa mga talent shows nila yung abscbn. From the start pa lang ng mga talent shows na ito, they would know kung sino na magiging winner. Like yung mga singing contest nila and the like.. A very valid information came to me one time when i’ve talked to a dancer from A.S.A.P. I would not divulge his name, pero nakilala ko sya one time during an interview sa inaaplyan naming trabaho sa isang “known” company sa Pasay. Do you still remember yung “Search for a Star in a Million” ba yun, where Kris Lawrence became the ultimate champion? Would you believe, marami pa silang contestants noon pinapanood ko yun, tapos he told me na magiging champion si Kris Lawrence doon kasi alam na nila mga taga abscbn yun. True to the fact naging champion nga si Mr. Lawrence. From then on, nagkaroon na ako ng doubts sa credibility ng mga talent shows nila…
Pero dahil sa pagiging tunay na kapamilya ko, i still watched pbb. Pati mga uplates nila and even yung mga pbb shows sa channel 23 pinapanood ko.. But little by little nawalan na ako ng gana sa PBB. Alam nyo ba yung nangyari sa first season ng pbb. Di ba lumabas na rin dun yung isyu about uma,and sam ba yun o cass, na kesyo di sila nag-audition and matagal na sila sa abscbn. kaya pinalabas pa nila yung mga audition tapes nila uma and cass. pero naman di ba, pwede naman sila papuntahain sa mga scheduled audition ng pbb and kunan ng mga vtr pero for formality sake na lang yun, pero in truth sure ball na sila na makakapasok dun…kasi nga naman may kapit na sila sa loob.. Na-validate yung doubts ko nun nung makapasok si bam sa teen edition.. Kilala ko yung napangasawa ni dimples romana na sister ni bam. I know na ninong ni dimples and boyet ahmee(hubby ni dimples)si lauren dyogi sa kasal.. Kailangan pa ba tanungin kung paano nakapasok si bam… Si kim chiu, tanungin mo nga mga taga abscbn kung di nila alam before hand na mananalo yun tapos pinartner pa nila kay Mr.anderson, ano nga name nun nakalimutan ko na… Di ba nga naman ang lakas ng loveteam nila kaysa doon kay genius boy mikee. Syempre kailangan nilang gawin yun, kailangan paglapitin si kim kay mr.anderson para bilhin lalo nyung loveteam nila paglabas..
Tapos ngayon may isyu na naman tungkol kay wendy. Halata bang updated pa rin ako..
Paano yan lagi na lang ba may isyu ng credibility lahat ng talent shows nila.. One saying says if there is smoke there is fire… And sigurado ako if there’s a lot of it, malaking sunog na yan….
Hindi ako magtataka kung manalo pa si wendy pero sigurado ako sinama nila si wendy sa big 4 para tumabo pa sila sa mga text votes nyo… At malamang din na magdamage control sila at hindi panalunin si wendy dahil sa sobrang daming negative feedback…
